Historic England’s fourth free Industrial Heritage HELM Webinar covers the Historic England ‘Mills of the North’ project (https://historicengland.org.uk/services-skills/training-skills/online-training/webinars/helm-webinars/). This is taking place on Monday 15 November between 1300 and 1400.

Speakers include James Stephenson (Wakefield Council), Bernadette Bone (BB Heritage Studio), Stef Wyke (Islington Mill) and Alastair Godfrey (Historic England). They will be exploring how mill reuse is driving the regeneration of whole areas, building meaningful communities and helping us become more environmentally sustainable. The webinar will support those seeking to understand and articulate the transformational benefits of mill reuse to inform, shape and drive forward policy and action. A second complementary mills webinar is also in preparation for early 2022 which will look more closely at delivering high-quality design in mill reuse.
