There is still time to book your place at the Charity Finance Group‘s Small Charities Programme. This series of workshops aims to provide practical finance training and resources for charities with an income of £1m or less across England and Wales. The programme covers five key finance-related themes which should help your charity pick its way through an area which is often considered to be a minefield for those groups and organisations without the necessary resources or experience. The themes are:
- Budgets and Forecasting
- Preparing Reports
- Legal & Financial responsibilities of employing staff
- Banking and Accounting
- Gift Aid & How to Claim
The training workshops are being held at a number of venues across the country until the end of April 2017, and cost just £20 for each half day training. Travel bursaries of up to £100 are also available.

The Small Charities Programme also has a number of practical and easy to use online resources which are aimed at supporting smaller groups and organisations to manage their finances.
