The UK Government has published an update (5 April 2021) on the “Test and Trace” requirements and regulations in advance of the re-opening of visitor attractions. Venues must ask their customers and visitors (over the age of 16) for the following details:
- A contact phone number for each customer or visitor (no longer just the lead person in each group)
- Date of visit, arrival time and, where possible, departure time
- The name of the assigned staff member, if a customer or visitor will interact with only one member of staff
Venues must display an official NHS QR code poster at their entrance. Organisations must have a system in place for individuals who do not have a smartphone or the NHS COVID-19 app. For more information about the “Test and Trace” requirements please click here
