Heritage Open Days 2020 to Go Ahead

This year’s Heritage Open days are to go ahead fro the 11th to the 20th September. For the first time online events will be offered, as well as any in-person opportunities that are possible within Government guidelines at the time of the festival.

Communities will be able to celebrate the stories of the places and spaces that are important to them in new and innovative ways. Visitors will be able to participate in activities much further afield and to explore even more hidden places and local gems from the comfort and security of their armchair.

Quarry Bank Mill, Styal, Cheshire. A National Trust property.

Event details, which includes many industrial heritage sites, will go live in August on the Festival Visit page. Existing organisers will be kept up to date with plans and progress. If you’re new to the festival and wanting to participate, you can join in with other organisers through this link: https://www.heritageopendays.org.uk/
