Training: Free AIM Hallmarks Governance Sessions

logoThe Association for Independent Museums has announced that the Arts Council England funded Hallmarks Governance Programme will continue with a new series of seminars to support trustees taking place between September 2017 and Janualry 2018.

Helping trustees to develop the skills and knowledge they need to lead their organisations effectively, this new series will be of interest both to new trustees and those who have some experience of serving on boards and are already familiar with the basics of good governance. These sessions will further develop the practical skills required to invigorate the way your board works, offering professional guidance, tips and opportunities to reflect and share experiences with a mutually supportive peer network.

Sessions on ‘Better Meetings’, ‘What Trustees Need to Know’, and ‘Review and Recruitment for Your Board’ will be repeated in venues around England. AIM will be announcing a full list of dates and venues on the AIM website, via E News, the AIM Bulletin and AIM Social Media very soon.
