There is still time (just!) to register for the next installment of the London Transport Museum’s ‘Heritage Skills Seminar’ series taking place on Thursday 30 October 2025.
You can register your interest in attending in-person on the 24th October by emailing Smauel Carter at Samuel.Carter@ltmuseum.co.uk
This seminar aims to bring together people working with transport heritage to discuss the problem of skills shortages in maintaining operational historic vehicles. Various approaches to skills preservation with heritage professionals will be discussed, from the road vehicle preservation movement and beyond to guide future best practice. There will be a mixture of talks and discussion.
The event will be in person at the London Transport Museum Depot in Acton, West London (a short walk from Acton Town Underground station). It runs from 11am to 4pm on 30 October 2025. Tea and coffee served from 11am. Participation is free and a sandwich lunch is provided.
