ICON, the Instute for Conservation, is launching the 4th edition of ‘First Aid for Finds’, the essential guide for the care of freshly excavated archaeological objects, on 15th October.

The session will feature an exclusive lecture from the book’s authors, who will discuss the evolution of First Aid for Finds, highlight the key updates in the new edition, and share insights from decades of experience in archaeological conservation. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how the latest edition is organised. It will be followed by the ICON AGM.

The event is free for ICON members, and is £10 for Non Members.
