Historic England launched its Heritage Investment Prospectus, at the UK Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), on the 21 May. This showcases historic sites where owners are actively seeking investment partners or buyers.
Underused historic buildings across England could be given a new life through this investment initiative by Historic England, and many of the 17 sites described in the prospectus are industrial heritage buildings. These are:
- Sommerfield and Thomas Warehouse, King’s Lynn
- Dalton Mills, Keighley
- Chatterley Whitfield Colliery, Staffordshire
- Imperial Mill, Blackburn
- Surry Pumping Station
- Lister Mills, Bradford
- Town Mill, Mansfield
- Lomeshaye Bridge Mill, Nelson
