The second London Transport Museum seminar series on heritage skills will take place at the London Transport Museum Depot at Acton on 31 October. The seminar is part of the Museum’s Sustaining Heritage Skills project, funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Heritage Innovation Fund.
The seminar builds on the previous seminar held in June 2024, and aims to continue the discussion on how to preserve the intangible heritage of skills and maintain the UK’s operational historic vehicles and mobile heritage.
The event is in person at London Transport Museum Depot in Acton, West London (a short walk from Acton Town tube station). It runs from 11am to 4pm on Thursday 31 October 2024.
