Carbon Literacy training for industrial heritage sites specialising in transport will be available this September, run by Historic England with the support of the Heritage Alliance.
The training session for mobile heritage organisations is on the 17th and 19th September, with the opportunity to schedule other sessions if there is demand. Historic England will include tailored content for mobile heritage and industrial heritage organisations, and discussions in the breakout groups will focus on challenges that organisations in the mobile heritage sector face. The course takes place online in 2 half-days and it costs only £10 .
In addition, the Heritage Trust Network is also delivering some more general heritage carbon literacy training sessions with Historic England from October 24 to March 25. Organisations must be based in England, whilsy local authorities, higher education establishments, and private owners are not eligible for this training. Only one person per organisation can book, as places are very limited.
