The Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund, run by the Museums Association (MA), supports museums and their community partners to develop together, using collections. Following a period of review, the Collections Fund has updated its purpose, guidance and application criteria for 2024 and is now inviting applications.

The Museum Association award the fund on behalf of Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and have awarded over £11m in nearly 200 grants since 2011. You can find out more about the most recent recipients (December 2023) of the funding here: December 2023 awardees

Grants of £40,000 to £100,000 are available to spent over a period of up to three years. This spring’s deadline is 22 April. Apply here to the Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund
