Following on from the Association of Independent Museums’ previous surveys, AIM are keen to assess how museums have fared over the summer holiday period and the impact the current cost of living crisis is having on the museum sector, including industrial sites. The state of the sector survey helps AIM to understand the challenges facing museums and in providing the evidence needed to make the case for support for independent museums.

Please do complete the survey to support AIM in continuing to provide governments and funding bodies with robust and specific information about the level of need in the sector. This year’s survey also has a question on any impacts you may be facing in light of concerns over Reinforces Autoclaved Aerated Concrete.
